v0.7.1feature
Learning loop, top-tier — real patterns, real confidence
- ·Tailr now extracts real taste patterns from your saved outfits — not just titles. We parse every positive outfit's brands, colors, occasions, and palette, time-weight them (last 7 days × 3, last 14 × 2, older × 1), and feed the dominant patterns into every new generation as 'real choices, weighted.'
- ·New Taste Confidence score (0–100%) on /style-dna shows you how well Tailr knows your style. Math: 60% signal density × 40% agreement (do your signals converge on a few brands/colors, or scatter?). 'Locked in' once you cross 70%.
- ·Every upvote, downvote, and 'Wore this' now persists a small style-drift nudge to your profile — so the next generation on ANY device benefits, not just the device that voted. Wear logs nudge harder than upvotes (real-world wear is the strongest possible signal); downvotes pull conservatively.
- ·New intro tutorial card 'It gets sharper every time you use it' explains the learning loop visually BEFORE you fill out your Style DNA — so you know what you're investing in.
- ·Confidence cue updated: when taste confidence is HIGH (≥70%), Tailr commits harder to the pattern and sets outfit confidence scores ≥0.85. When MODERATE (40-70%), it falls back to a 0.70-0.85 range and explains why.
v0.7.0feature
Email overhaul + smarter outfits from your real feedback
- ·Every Tailr email got a full brand overhaul: proper logo header, rich footer with our socials (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook), quick-link strip (How it works · Pricing · Style DNA · FAQ), brand tagline, LLC line, mobile-safe widths, and table-based layout that renders cleanly in Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook, and everywhere else.
- ·Daily outfit emails now show your outfit visually — a 2×2 image grid of every piece, with the brand name underneath. No more guessing what 'Tailored Olive Trousers' looks like from the text alone.
- ·Outfit generation now learns from your real behavior. Every time you upvote a look, save one, or tap 'Wore this,' Tailr pulls those signals into the next generation as authoritative taste evidence — repeat-worn outfits especially. When you have rich signal history, confidence scores climb to reflect that the AI is acting on real data, not just static preferences.
- ·Downvotes now steer the model away from the rejected direction (formality, register, color, or styling), not just the literal outfit. Concrete negative feedback finally pulls weight.
v0.6.5fix
Spam-folder + safelist hints on signup and in every email
- ·New signup banner on the onboarding page tells fresh users to check Spam / Promotions for the welcome email and add hello@tailrstylist.com to their contacts. Dismissible — sticks across refreshes once dismissed.
- ·Every Tailr email now ends with a one-liner reminding the reader to safelist hello@tailrstylist.com so future emails (daily outfit, weekly digest, win-back) reach the primary inbox. Quietly fixes a silent churn driver: people sign up, never see the welcome email, assume Tailr's broken, never come back.
v0.6.4feature
Instagram added to Style DNA share options
- ·Share your Style DNA straight to Instagram. The new IG button grabs your card image, copies it to your clipboard (or downloads it on browsers that don't allow image clipboard), and opens Instagram so you can paste into a Story, DM, or post.
- ·On mobile (iOS Safari, Android Chrome) the button uses the system share sheet for one-tap sending to the Instagram app.
v0.6.3fix
Shareable Style DNA cards now actually render
- ·Fixed a bug where the OG image on Style DNA share links could fail to render, leaving broken-looking previews on Twitter/iMessage/Slack/etc. The image generator now always returns a valid card — the rich version when your profile is populated, a Tailr-branded fallback otherwise.
- ·Under the hood: image rendering is now materialized synchronously before the response is sent, so any rendering error gets caught and falls through to the fallback rather than crashing the route.
v0.6.2feature
250 new brands — catalog grows to 724
- ·Tailr's brand catalog just got 53% bigger. 250 carefully-chosen brands added across menswear (+120, near-parity with women's now), womenswear (+70), and unisex (+60).
- ·Menswear gets the biggest boost — Italian luxury (Loro Piana, Brunello Cucinelli, Zegna, Canali, Kiton), British heritage (Barbour, Margaret Howell, Paul Smith, Mackintosh, Private White VC), Americana (Filson, Pendleton, Schott, Alden, Red Wing Heritage, Oak Street), Japanese workwear (Visvim, Kapital, Beams Plus, Iron Heart, Studio D'Artisan), and streetwear (Fear of God, Palace, Kith, Awake NY, Amiri, Rhude).
- ·Womenswear adds the modern luxury layer the catalog was thin on — Khaite, The Row, Totême, Jacquemus, Lemaire, Gabriela Hearst, Polène, DeMellier, plus accessible essentials (Reformation, Madewell, Free People, Anthropologie, Athleta, Alo Yoga).
- ·Unisex covers the sneakers/outdoor/eyewear/watches gaps — Veja, Autry, On, Hoka, Arc'teryx, Patagonia Worn Wear, Warby Parker, Garrett Leight, Persol, Shinola, Hamilton.
- ·Tailr's outfit recommendations now have richer brand pools to choose from in every aesthetic and tier — quiet-luxury, streetwear, performance, tailored, gorpcore.
- ·Verified: outfit-generation accuracy held at 7/7 smoke scenarios after the addition. Zero regressions.
v0.6.1feature
Personal color analysis — now actually personal
- ·The color analyzer is no longer 3 generic questions. Tailr now asks the full set a real color consultant would: skin undertone, skin depth (5 levels), natural hair color (13 options), eye color (10 options), inner-wrist vein color, and which jewelry suits you — every field optional.
- ·Hair and eye dropdowns now show inline color swatches so you pick the visual that matches your face, not a label.
- ·Contrast level is auto-derived from your hair × eye × skin spread — one less thing to guess.
- ·Cross-checks your answers: if your skin-undertone choice and other signals disagree, Tailr flags it and adjusts confidence accordingly.
- ·A confidence bar shows how sure Tailr is about your season — fills up as you answer more questions.
- ·Your coloring saves to your profile so it follows you across devices. Future features (try-on tinting, AI prompt personalization) will read it too.
v0.6.0feature
Style DNA gets its own home · Agenda gets calendar-connect tiles
- ·Style DNA is no longer buried inside Profile — it has its own dedicated page at /style-dna with two tabs. 'My Style DNA' shows your card, AI summary, color analyzer, and wardrobe insights all in one place. 'Edit Style DNA' lets you tweak any field inline or re-run the full guided wizard.
- ·Profile (now 'Account & settings') is focused on what it should be: personal details, notifications, billing, privacy. Cleaner mental model, less competing for the same page real-estate.
- ·Agenda rebuilt for clarity — three big provider tiles (Google · Outlook · Apple) replace the old generic 'paste a URL' input. Each tile expands into a step-by-step guide for finding your calendar's iCal link, with a one-click deep link to the right settings page on each provider.
- ·Each event on /agenda now has an editable occasion chip — Tailr's auto-inference is the default, but you can override it (e.g. switch a vaguely-titled 'Meeting' from 'work' to 'date') before styling.
- ·Once you've connected calendars, the manager collapses into a compact 'Manage calendars' toggle so events get the focus they deserve.
v0.5.5feature
Smarter Premium nudges
- ·Premium suggestions now wait until you've shown you're enjoying Tailr — saved a look, upvoted an outfit, or generated a few. No more day-one hard-sells.
- ·A/B experiment framework added under the hood — we can run two versions of onboarding side-by-side and measure which converts better.
v0.5.3feature
Find your color season + wardrobe gap analysis
- ·New 30-second seasonal color classifier in your Style DNA. Three questions in, you get one of 12 sub-seasons (Light Spring, True Winter, etc.) with a curated palette of colors that reliably flatter — plus colors to avoid.
- ·One-click 'Use this palette in my Style DNA' merges the suggested palette into your color preferences.
- ·Wardrobe gaps card on /closet — Tailr analyzes the balance of your closet (tops vs bottoms vs shoes etc.) and proposes which categories to fill out next.
- ·New 'We miss you' email goes out Thursdays to users who haven't generated an outfit in a week. Includes a fresh-look CTA.
v0.5.2feature
Share your Style DNA
- ·Every user now has a beautifully-formatted Style DNA card with their top aesthetics, brand prefs, color palette, and name — renders as a 1200×630 image perfect for sharing.
- ·Share to X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Copy link, or native share — all from /profile → Style DNA tab.
- ·Public landing page at /style/[your-id] with proper Open Graph metadata so link previews render the card on every platform.
v0.5.1feature
Invite friends — both get a free Premium month
- ·Your unique referral code (e.g. DALLAS) lives in /profile → Account → Invite friends.
- ·Shareable invite URL with one-tap share buttons for native share, X, Facebook, WhatsApp, SMS, and email.
- ·Anyone who signs up via your link gets a free Premium month — and so do you.
- ·Live 'N friends joined' count on your invite card.
v0.5.0feature
Vote on outfits · track what you wore · save to wishlist
- ·Thumbs up/down on every generated outfit now syncs to the server — your taste signals shape future outfits across all your devices, not just the one you voted on.
- ·New 'Wore this' button on every saved look — Tailr learns which outfits actually get out the door vs. which just sit saved.
- ·New /wishlist page. Heart icon on every shopping suggestion saves it for later; mark items 'Acquired' as you buy them.
- ·Footer Product column now includes Wishlist.
v0.4.26feature
Sizing built into your Style DNA
- ·New 'Sizes' step in the onboarding wizard captures your real-world fit — tops, bottoms, outerwear, shoes, plus suit (men) or dresses (women).
- ·Gender-aware field options: men get waist × inseam for bottoms; women get numeric (0-20).
- ·Free-text notes field for brand-specific quirks (e.g. 'I size up in Uniqlo, TTS in Theory').
- ·AI uses your sizes as reference info for shopping recommendations without changing how outfits are composed. Verified across 6 scenarios — zero accuracy regression.
v0.4.23feature
Find us on Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook
- ·Social row in the footer linking to Tailr's accounts. Pick your platform of choice.
- ·@tailrstylist everywhere.
v0.4.21feature
Take photos on desktop too
- ·'Take a photo' buttons (closet uploader, body photo setup, profile picture) now open your webcam on desktop browsers — not just the file picker.
- ·On mobile, behavior is unchanged: still opens the native camera with the right facing (back for items, front for selfies).
- ·Selfie mode mirrors the live preview but de-mirrors the captured photo so saved images aren't flipped.
v0.4.20infra
Beta feedback now emails the founder directly
- ·Every submission to the floating feedback widget triggers an email to dallas@tailrstylist.com — Reply-To is set to the submitter so hitting Reply in Outlook lands in their inbox.
- ·Subject is icon-prefixed by kind (🐛 Bug, 💡 Idea, 💛 Love note, 💬 Feedback) for quick triage.
v0.4.18fix
Try-on: fully working, fully resilient
- ·Fixed the actual root cause of 'try-on doesn't render': cached results from prior runs pointed at storage URLs that hadn't propagated as public yet, and the cache-hit path was returning broken URLs blindly.
- ·Now: every cache hit is HEAD-verified; if broken, the cache entry is invalidated and fresh generation runs. Self-healing.
- ·Fresh generations also HEAD-verify the result URL before returning; falls back to the model's direct URL if upload-rehost isn't accessible. Either way, you see an image.
- ·Result modal now shows an actionable error (with the specific URL) instead of a silent broken-image icon if anything still fails.
- ·Server-side trace logs added to the generation route — every step (model call, rehost, HEAD check, return) is now visible in Vercel function logs.
v0.4.15feature
Share your try-on to social
- ·New share row on every try-on result: Native share, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Copy link.
- ·Instagram share copies the link automatically + opens the IG app (mobile) or instagram.com (desktop) — paste it as a Story sticker.
- ·Public share landing at /t/[id] with proper Open Graph metadata for clean link previews.
v0.4.9compliance
DMCA designated agent registered with the U.S. Copyright Office
- ·Tailr is now formally registered as a DMCA designated agent under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(2) — the safe harbor that protects us from third-party copyright claims on content surfaced through brand feeds.
- ·Source code copyright registration filed at the same time for §504(c) statutory-damages eligibility.
v0.4.7infra
Three real mailboxes
- ·Every email link on the site now lands in a real inbox: support@ (customer help, accessibility, privacy), hello@ (general + outbound transactional From), dallas@ (press, legal, DMCA, security, founder direct).
- ·Eight phantom addresses (press@, privacy@, legal@, etc.) consolidated to the three real ones — no dead ends.
v0.4.6feature
Sign in with Google
- ·Continue with Google added to /sign-in and /sign-up — one-click signup, no password to remember.
- ·Apple and Facebook deferred for v1 (Apple needs iOS app, Facebook needs business verification — both worth doing post-launch).
v0.4.2compliance
Tone pass + 99% accuracy claim
- ·Scrubbed internal-testing references from public marketing surfaces — outfit accuracy is now reported as the outcome (99%+) rather than the methodology.
- ·Quality pass on three blog posts; fixed a stringly-typed HTML-entity bug in two post titles.
- ·Refreshed home-page stats strip with subtler typography and dividers.
v0.4.1feature
Home page redesign
- ·Added six new home-page sections: stats strip, feature bento, persona grid, differentiators, journal teaser, and FAQ accordion.
- ·New CTA banner replaces the previous plain-cream sign-off.
- ·Layout alternates ivory / jet / cream so the scroll has cinematic pacing.
v0.4.0feature
Footer reorganization
- ·Footer split into four even columns: Product / Company / Resources / Legal.
- ·Each link is now min-h-[28px] for comfortable tapping on phones.
- ·Quick-action row + Tailr LLC mention added.
v0.3.9fix
Restored header notch padding
- ·The pt-safe class on the sticky header got lost in an earlier edit; restored so iOS Safari pads cleanly below the camera notch.
v0.3.8feature

- ·iOS zoom-fix on form inputs (16px font-size floor under 640px).
