Editing your Style DNA later
How to refine taste signals as you live in Tailr, without redoing the wizard.
Your Style DNA isn't carved in stone. Tailr is built to learn — but only if you teach it. Here's how to refine your profile without redoing the wizard.
Where to edit
- Open Style DNA.
- Each field — aesthetics, colors, fits, body type, brands, occasions, inspirations — is editable in place.
- Changes save automatically. The next outfit you generate uses them immediately.
What's worth tuning regularly
- Avoid colors — the single highest-leverage field. Add a color to avoid and Tailr will never use it in a future outfit.
- Aesthetics — as your taste evolves, swap older labels for current ones. You can pick up to 5; quality beats quantity.
- Brands — add brands you've started buying from; remove ones you no longer wear.
- Occasions — if you started golfing, picked up a hobby that needs dressier looks, or take more business trips — tag those occasions so Tailr is ready.
How the AI learns from your behavior
Even without editing the wizard, Tailr quietly tracks the looks you like, save, and dismiss. A lightweight signal called the Style Genomebiases future outfits toward the patterns you've approved. So loving 5 monochrome looks in a row is just as informative as editing the “monochrome” aesthetic.
Tip
Want a clean reset? Tap Re-run the guided wizard anytime. Your saved looks + closet stay intact; only your taste signals refresh.
